Summer Charity Ball@Hyatt Regency Hangzhou

“Ladies and Gentlemen” , with a great clear voice by the MC
“Welcome to the Hyatt Regency Summer Charity Ball”, that started our night in Hangzhou.

Attending this Summer Charity Ball, was a coincident but it turned out quite meaningful.

With the mission of helping unfortunate children in the local community, Hyatt Regency Hangzhou together with Hangzhou Charity Federation, launched 6th Hyatt Summer Charity Ball this 25th June, 2011, which aims to have another premiere fund-raising event in the local community.

The Ballroom transformed into an era of glamour, glitz, intrigue and style for a glam old-Hollywood soirée featuring a black background interspersed with sparkling and red decorations. During the night, jazz band performed some bluesy classics live, and transported us back to old Hollywood with an amazing tap dancer (He definitely looks like a HK DJ 少爺占, if it’s not him).

Highlight of the night was their charity live auction, with proceeds going to help the underprivileged children children in Zhejiang province on improving the rights of the underprivileged children: rights to medical treatment, rights to receive education and rights to know kindliness from donators. Also with the help of 9,888RMB per table of ten people, 12,888RMB per table of ten people (premier table). This year, if I wasn’t drunk, proceeds exceed 1.5mioRMB.

I hardly attend these events in china but the night was definitely fun and heart warming!

Hangzhou is indeed a beautiful place I reckon
