香港啤,你喝過嗎?
日本有Asahi 、新加坡有Tiger Beer、荷蘭有喜力、愛爾蘭有Guinness、丹麥有喜士伯、北京有燕景啤酒、山東有青島啤、台灣有台灣啤,那香港有….? 其實這些年來,香港都有一本地品牌。默默耕耘 ,堅持在港釀製新鮮啤酒,那就是鮮為人知的香港啤。昨天跟幾個台灣朋友在跑馬地一家全新法國餐廳- Saint Germain 吃 Foie Gras, Truffle Risotto 和喝瓶 Domaine Magellan 的Chardonnay後 , 接著到附近的酒吧 Happy Valley Bar & Grill。 朋友出於好奇, 叫了瓶HONG KONG BEER 香港啤酒。 我還喝了一口。 HONG KONG BEER 設計以傳統的香港橙色為主, 大大隻字寫上 HONG KONG BEER,再加上星星及帆船組成。 標榜香港品牌、香港製造。 香港啤於2003年7月成立,其位於黃竹坑的釀酒廠,前身是南華啤酒,雖只是一家小小的釀酒 廠,這五年來卻一直供應新鮮的啤酒,從未間斷。釀酒師Ferdin是菲律賓人,已有十多年釀啤酒的經驗,他堅持德國人釀啤酒的方式,就是不加防腐劑,只有水、麥及啤酒花,所以存放時間絕不多於九個月,較市面其他啤酒短,也就是更新鮮,麥香亦不會流失。 啤酒選用來自德國的麥,包括Pilsner、 Caramunich等,而啤酒花則選用比利時貨,如Chinook、Saaz等。 HONG KONG BEER 喝下去沒有很重的苦味,清、容易入口,而且有一點點小麥香,實在不錯。 香港啤分別有Toosoo、Aldrich Bay及香港啤三種口味,每月產量約八千公升,但Toosoo及Aldrich Bay只推出桶裝,主要在酒吧內售賣,當中只有香港啤推出樽裝,在部分酒吧, 酒店如港麗酒店、海景嘉福酒店,以及惠康、city’super、Market Place等超市有售。 品牌頗受外國人歡迎,他們喜歡嘗試本地出品,也偏好麥味較濃郁的啤酒。 你也想逐一品嚐試這些獨特啤酒?只要湊夠二十五人(約$250/位),也可聯絡釀酒廠,安排試酒團,欣賞釀酒廠並任飲新鮮啤酒。 我不是一個啤酒人,但拿起這瓶啤酒時, 看著台灣朋友喝得高興。我實實在在感到驕傲。 … Read more
